Minutes of the Sunflower Chapter #32 of the Holiday Ramblers
April 9, 2010

Attendance: Those present were Doughtys, Leeds, Evans, Shormans, Haines, Griffins, and Jan Crumly. A quorum was declared by the secretary.

Call to Order: The President, Jerry Haines, called the meeting to order at 1:45 p.m. The President welcomed everyone to the first campout of 2010.

Minutes: Everyone received the minutes of the November, 2009 meeting via email. There were no questions or revisions. Bev moved we accept the minutes as written and Dwaine seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Skip Evans reported the deposit of one more membership to the Sunflowers bringing the balance to $898.22. Tom moved we approve the report and Ray seconded it. There were no bills presented.

Correspondence: There was no correspondence.

Committee Reports: There were no committee reports.

Old Business:
The President reported that the State Council was still in search for a secretary/treasurer.

New Business;
1. Two Chapter Rally will be April 29-May 2 at Rutladers campground in Louisburg, Kansas. Each couple should make their own reservations either by calling 866-888-6779 or by contacting Brenda on Rutladeroutpost.com on the internet.
2. Bring all items or concerns for the State Council meeting at Rutladers
3. Sunflowers June Rally – This is the state rally for Missouri. It will be in Branson June 3-6 with early parking June 1-3 Each one should make their own reservations by calling the ABC (America’s Best Campground).

The President told us about the passing of Leta Rupple. Jan Crumly and Doughtys reported on the funeral and visiting with former Sunflowers.

4. The President encouraged everyone to vote for the new Region V Director who will replace Dan Herman.
5. It was mentioned for information that the dues for HRRVC has been raised from $35.00 to $50.00. Gavin Doughty reported that there was 4800 members, a decrease from the previous 10,000 members.
6. Monaco (Navistar) is making certain models and doing some as a custom order.
7. The President reported that the AirCaps didn’t create a camping schedule for the year, but some may join us for the caravan in September.

The President thanked the Evans and Leeds for hosting this campout.

The President Adjourned the Meeting.
