Old Business:

1. Maria Rhodes reviewed information about the next campout August 13-15 at Enterprise, Kansas. Reservations should be made there on your own. Call 1-800-658-4667. Jan Crumly gave a synopsis of the Munson Angus Farm which will provide a tour of the farm, a carriage ride, and a beef (hamburger) dinner and homemade ice cream for the price of $25.00 per person. 6 couples were needed to meet the requirements for the dinner and the following committed to being at the campout unless an emergency. Crumlys, Doughtys, Haines, Leeds, Rhodes, and Shormans. Other items that might be included in the campout are a tour of the Horizon 5th Wheel Plant and perhaps a Cattle Auction. Shormans and Rhodes are co hosts. If anyone else can attend, please contact Maria Rhodes.

New Business:

1. Gavin gave information about the Kansas Caravan in September. Haines and Doughtys are hosts. A couple can join the caravan anywhere along the way. It will start at Hutchinson State Fair leaving there on Sunday, August 19th; therefore, might be necessary for people to be there on Saturday, August 18th. Some discussion took place about where to camp the 18th and there are several campgrounds nearby or dry camping. Some of the stops are Ft. Larned, Ellis, Kearney State Recreational Area, and ending up at the Nebraska State Rally in York, Nebraska. More information with the stops for the night, sights to see, etc. will be coming soon. Gerald passed out registration forms for the Nebraska State Rally in York so each couple going needs to send in their forms.

2. Del Staab moved, effective today, July 10, 2010, that dues for Ray and Judy Janz be waived for the remainder of the current calendar year. Ray Leeds seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimous. It should also be added: Following the passage of this motion, a discussion about the bylaws ensued and Del Staab stated that he would be presenting to the President a motion which would waive the dues for all new members for their first year.

3. There was discussion and information about the possibility of the Air Caps folding. Del Staab moved that we extend membership into our chapter to the Air Caps. Jim Rhodes seconded it. The motion passed uniamous.
