Minutes of the Sunflower Chaper #32 of the Holiday Ramblers – April 29-30 and May 1-2. Two Chapter Campout
Attendance: Those attending were Crumlys, Leeds, Doughtys, Haines, Pulliams, and Burchs. The secretary declared a quorum.

Call to Order: The President called the meeting to order.
Minutes: The President asked if everyone had received the minutes via email. There were no revisions. Phil Pulliam moved to accept the minutes as written. Ray Leeds seconded it. The minutes were approved.
Treasurer’s Report: In the absence of the treasurer, the Leeds reported that the balance remained the same as the previous month, $892.22. There were no bills presented. Elsie moved to accept the treasurer’s report. Marilyn seconded it. The report was approved.
Correspondence: Phil Pulliam had emailed everyone about Kansas activities. The question was asked if the ladies wanted to find a place at international to give the blankets or if we wanted to hold them for the 2011 Kansas State Rally. It was decided to find a place for them now. Lee Clement is running for HRVCC National Director and everyone was encouraged to vote if they had not done so.
Committee Reports: None
Old Business:
1. It was announced that the June Rally for the Sunflowers is the Missouri State Rally at Branson on June 3-6 with early parking June 1 and 2. It appeared that 3 couples will be attending (Pulliams, Doughtys, and Burchs with 2 couples as maybes – the Leeds and Haines.
New Business:
1. The August Rally, August 13th -15th has been changed. The place will be at 4 Seasons at Enterprise, Kansas. A handout was passed out with activities planned. Maria and Jim Rhodes and Dwaine and Rosalie Shorman are the hosts. Each couple need to make their own reservations. Talk to Julie to reserve a place. The phone number is 800-658-4667. The two main activities are:
A. Tour the New Horizons RV factory. They specialize in custon Rvs.
B. Tour the Munson Angus Farm. This will include observing the current farming activity, a carriage ride drawn by black Perchon horses driven by the friendly staff, a meal which includes Angus beef and other farm dishes topped off with homemade ice cream. The cost of the this is $25.00 per person. The hosts will need to know how many are attending as to make reservations with the Munsons. No date was indicated as to when the hosts need the count of attendees.
2. A report was given on Rosalie Shorman’s knee surgery. She is doing well and will need to have many staples removed. We informed her that Dwaine could probably do that chore.
3. It was reported that Del Staab had some heart issues and had stints put in. No smoking is the word we received.
4. It was reported that internatinal wanted us to do two baskets one for scholarship and one for a raffle for Make A Wish. Jan Crumly moved that we do one basket for the scholarship fund. Items can be sent to Adele Pulliam. Phil Pulliam seconded it. Marilyn moved that we donate $75.00 to purchase an item for the raffle that will support Make A Wish. Ray Leeds seconded it. It passed.
The President thanked the Air Caps, the Burchs for a nice rally and for the planning and food that they furnished to make it a fun rally.
